Melanie Gibson-Barton - "a really entertaining speaker"

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to tell you more about the enjoyment that I receive from being invited to speak at events like yours.  Be assured that your audience will feel entertained and informed.

I have passed auditions to become a registered public speaker with both the East Kent and the West Kent Federations of Women's Institutes and also receive regular bookings from the Medway Speakers list so you can book me confident of a high quality presentation.

My talks are based on a Belgian theme - though I am an Englishwoman and my talks are delivered in English! - and I often find that many of the groups I visit use the opportunity weave the Belgian theme into their event, with 'continental' suppers and a chocolate raffle. 

My talks are illustrated with colourful slides using a lap-top and projector and I bring all my own equipment.   All I ask is a socket to plug into and a table on which to rest my screen.

I have delivered my talks to an enoromous variety of groups including Womens' Institutes (I'm a Dual Member), history, church and social groups and I enjoy repeat bookings. 

Let down by your speaker the day before your event? - just ask me, I can often step in at short notice for you.
